HIWC is proud to support another remarkable project, founded by Yewande Olusore - a Nigerian national and one of our own club members. Since December 2024, our club has been contributing to SteadFastLove Foundation through monetary donations raised at various charity events we have organized.

SFL is a registered women-led NGO in Lagos, Nigeria dedicated to transforming the lives of girls and women in rural communities. Our mission is to empower them to become self-reliant and valuable contributors to their communities through access to formal education, vocational training, and skills development.

Its core focus is on supporting young girls from low-income families whose parents cannot afford to send them to school. We achieve this through a combination of capacity building, healthcare initiatives, educational support, and empowerment programs that enable them to return to school and pursue professional or vocational paths of their choice.

SFL also works to reduce poverty and financial hardship by providing grants and scholarships to underprivileged children, including those with special needs. They collaborate with selected schools both locally and internationally to provide quality education for girls and advocate for gender equality as a foundation for a better and more inclusive society.
